Jackie, ty to masz odjazdowe sny Co do tych ludzi oblepionych błotem to skojarzyli mi się z teledyskiem Sweet Noise- Bruk xd.

Co do snu kontrolowanego, to przeżyłem go z trzy razy.

1. Hound Dog - Elvis Presley
2. Rebel Rouser - Duane Eddy
3. But I Do, (I Don't Know Why) - Clarence "Frogman" Henry
4. Walk Right In - The Rooftop Singers
5. Land Of 1000 Dances - Wilson Pickett
6. Blowin' In The Wind - Joan Baez
7. Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater Revival
8. I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch) - The Four Tops
9. Respect - Aretha Franklin
10. Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 - Bob Dylan
11. Sloop John B - The Beach Boys
12. California Dreamin' - The Mamas And The Papas
13. For What It's Worth - Buffalo Springfield
14. What The World Needs Now Is Love - Jackie DeShannon
15. Break On Through (To The Other Side) - The Doors
16. Mrs. Robinson - Simon & Garfunkel
DISC 2:
1. Volunteers - Jefferson Airplane
2. Let's Get Together - The Youngbloods
3. San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair) - Scott McKenzie
4. Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is A Season) - The Byrds
5. Aquarius / Let The Sunshine In - The Fifth Dimension

"Glory of the 80s" gdzieś już tam wcześniej wspomniane, jest super.

A tak z innej beczki: "The Big Picture", jeszcze z czasów Y Kant Tori Read całkowicie mnie rozbroiło.

"Pretty Good Year" za taniec i skok z okna i "1000 Oceans".
"Past The Mission" i "Sweet The Sting" też mi się fajnie ogląda.

Scenka marzen Jackie tez taka sobie.
Motyw Donny i Randiego kiepski - glowy troche ratowaly sytuacje.
Alternatywny krag - cos nie wyszlo.
Hyde lamiacy plyte - no to na plus
Sekretarka - nawet pozytywnie

Bede musial obejrzec jeszcze raz, coby wyrobic sobie opinie

Jackie D. Flint (to brzmi dumnie xD)

Hey ho, let's go Shoot'em in the back now What they want, I don't know
They're all reved up and ready to go

They're forming in straight line They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds The Blitzkrieg Bop

They're piling in the back seat They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat The Blitzkrieg Bop

Hey ho, let's go Shoot'em in the back now
What they want, I don't know They're all reved up and ready to go

They're forming in straight line They're going through a tight wind

JUDY IS A PUNK

Jackie is a punk Judy is a runt
They both went down to Berlin, joined the Ice Capades
And oh, I don't know why Oh, I don't know why
Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah
Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah

Second verse, same as the first Jackie is a punk Judy is a runt
They both went down to Berlin, joined the Ice Capades
And oh, I don't know why Oh, I don't know why
Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah
Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah

Third verse, different from the first Jackie is a punk Judy is a runt
They both went down to Frisco, joined the SLA

Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah

Meeting Tori's Parents

by joe

The evening of November 15, 2002 proved to be of the most memorable in my life. Not only did I see an astounding Tori performance, but I had the great, great honor of sitting behind her mother and father, Mary and Dr. Edison Amos. They were remarkably gracious and sweet people who are extremely proud of their daughter and really appreciative of her supportive fanbase. I simply wanted an autograph and to tell them how nice it was meeting them, but they pulled me into a fascinating and wonderful conversation that lasted nearly half an hour! I certainly didn't mind, as they enlightened me in many ways, offering unique perspectives on Tori's music and commercial success, as well as her place in music history.

They asked where I attended school and Dr. Amos placed great emphasis on the importance of an education and proceeded to list the college courses he takes for his own benefit as Tori's publisher (Sword and Stone), including Internet Law, as well as courses on MoneyPro and Quicken. I think it's very sweet that Tori managed to involve her parents in her career in this way. Her father seems especially enthused to be a part of it all.

He then went on to express is severe disappointment in what Americans listen to these days. "Teeny baby bopper junk" were the words he used. He also feels that very few musicians write "such intellectual lyrics like my daughter" and he believes that "Tori will endure music history, they will remember her in fifty years." I asked what his favorite songs by Tori were and he said "Winter, Silent All These Years - a magnificent song, Jackie's Strength, Gold Dust, 1000 Oceans. These are the songs that will remain timeless, that will never date."

In a wonderfully humorous moment he started bringing up Tori's single and album sales: "There was that one song that shocked us all because it was her biggest seller. Which one was it, Mama?" Mrs. Amos thought for a moment and, with wide eyes and southern twang, whispered: "Professional Widow! All those remixes!" Her father also mentioned that he thought five or six songs from "Y Kant Tori Read" remain her strongest songs and he's sad that they never picked up commercially, including "Cool On Your Island," "Floating City," and "Etienne," which he explained was about Joan of Arc.

He then took the set list out of his pocket, warned me that it may not remain the same throughout the show (it did, however), and began pointing to songs and explaining them to me! "Pancake, that's about pedophilia in the church. The 'pancake,' do you understand? The host." I was thrilled because I had never, in all my interpretative attempts, thought of that. "Spring Haze and I Can't see New York, they go together, see because NY deals with 9/11 and Spring Haze was inspired by JFK Jr's death."

I thanked them for their generous time and they encouraged me to see more shows (I told them I was at Riverside the night before and would be attending three more shows after that night, which made them happy). Fantastic, fantastic people. I'm so fortunate to have met and conversed with them. Such warm, inviting, proud people--it was truly amazing. Her mother cried during "Gold Dust" and "Black Swan" (which she dedicated to her mother) and it was very difficult for me to not do the same.

Now I just have to meet Tori herself...

Scibi, czyli Paweł Ścibura, rocznik '85, miejsce pochodzenia: Lublin.
Należący do elity (i chyba to nie ulega wątpliwości) młodego pokolenia twórców muzyki house w Polsce

Swoją przygodę z muzyką zaczął w 2000 roku. Nie ma wykształcenia muzycznego - jest samoukiem. Początki twórczości Pawła to styl techno i tech-house. Scibi potrafi też zaskoczyć lekkim, prawie chilloutowym brzmieniem, o czym może świadczyć jego produkcja "Sweet Mornigs With You"...

Pierwszy, w pełni autorski singiel "Love Come Down", nagrany z brytyjską wokalistką Robina, ukazał się 14 czerwca 2008. Wydała go stajnia Loopfreaks Records.
Kolejnym singlem było "Just Look Around", nagrane wspólnie z B&S i Elena Isakova i wydane 15 października 2008, w polskiej wytwórni Coffee Bar Music.

Obecnie Scibi współpracuje z Louim, a także z wieloma zagranicznymi artystami, m.in. Jeff Daniel i Yves Murasca. Rezultaty tej współpracy już wkrótce ...

Kilka feedbacków:
DJ Hot Hands: "This is really agreat package "Love Come Down". I'll play it on my radio show."
Zweiklang: ""Love Come Down" is a nice collection of quality soulful vocal house tracks. Great vibe and cool vocal performance from Scibi! The Groove cocktail remix and the Karol XVII & MB Valence remixes work best. Compliment, full support! 8/10"
U-Ness (SoulHeat Records): "Just Look Around is another dope tune from my man Scibi ! love it !"
Mikkel Wendelboe: "Cheers for the tune. Not overly keen on the vocals but the chords are working wonders. Will support the instrumental.. Thanks!"
Nick Power: "Love it! I will play it in my radioshows"
Jam Pesko (MoD Recordings): "Will play it in our Radioshow! Like the vibes of Jackie Rmx."
