1. Robert Johnson - Sweet Home Chicago, Ramblin' On My Mind, Crossroad Blues, Dust My Broom
2. Muddy Waters - Got My Mojo Working, I Can't Be Satisfied, Blow Wind Blow, Rollin' And Tumblin'
3. Willie Dixon - Hoochie Coochie Man, My Babe, Little Red Rooster, I'm Ready, Spoonful, The Seventh Son, Big Boss Man
4. Louis Jordan - Caldonia
5. Big Joe Williams - Baby Please Don't Go
6. Big Bill Broonzy - I Feel So Good, Key To The Highway
7. Jimmy Rogers - Walkin' By Myself
8. Sonny Boy Williamson II - Help Me
9. Elmore James - Talk To Me Baby
10. Jimmy Reed - Honest I Do, Bright Lights Big City, Big Boss Man
11. Roy Hawkins/BB King - Thrill Is Gone
12. Leiber Stoller - Kansas City
13. T-Bone Walker - Stormy Monday
14. Otis Rush - All Your Love
15. Little Walter - Juke, Last Night, You're So Fine, Mean Old World, Blues With A Feeling

Uff!

6. Going Down - prawie mam doła, choć to rzadko mi się zdarza

7. Crossroads (wersja Cream) - oryginał Johnsona dużo subtelniejszy

Steve Thorpe - [2006] - Live-Down and Dirty

01. Dust My Broom/Boot Hill

Heyka,
Jesli wezmiemy sobie blues chicagowski- jaki on byl w latach 40 i 50. Ten okres najlepiej i najbardziej czytelnie obrazuja dokonania Muddy'ego Watersa. Wtedy gral z kontrabasem(Willie Dixon) nagrania te byly surowe i bardzo mocno swingujace wezmy sobie dla przykladu taki- "Dimonds At Her Feets" "Natural Born Lover" "Sugar Sweet" oczywiscie chodzi mi o pierwotne wersje tych kawalkow- ktore glownie ukazywaly sie jako single. Wtedy na harmonijce gral Little Walter i Walter Horton. Tak gralo tez wielu innym muzykow- a w zasadzie wszyscy w Chicago bo taka byla wtedy moda i tak sie gralo. W tym samym czasie Little Walter i Horton nagrywal solowo. Przeciez pierwsze solowe nagrania Hortona z pianiem kontrabasem dla wytworni Sun np z Joe Hill Louisem to czysta dzisiejsza bluesowa california!

Ja bym jednak funku i soulu szukał wcześniej. Funk - klasyczny przykład - Hoodoo Man Blues Wellsa i Guy'a. Soul - nagrania Otisa Rusha i Allisona (zaczynał w latach 60-tych).
Mam nadzieję, że zamieszczone fragmenty Was zainteresują do dalszych samodzielnych poszukiwań.
